Getting Started

Flash Cart is easy to install and integrates seamlessly with popular Shopify themes. You can design your cart right in the Theme editor with flexible drag-and-drop blocks to fit your brand and business needs.

Quick setup

After you’ve installed Flash Cart, you can access the app dashboard in your Shopify Admin.

The dashboard includes a short video showing how to customize the appearance of your cart. You will also find all of Flash Cart’s available features with preview tutorial videos.

TIP | Click Apps in the sidebar, then select Flash Cart. You can click the ‘pin’ icon to keep the Flash Cart menu visible in your admin.

Set up cart features

In the dashboard, click the buttons in the feature blocks to set up them up in the theme editor or dashboard settings.

Quick purchase bar
Show an add-to-cart button when customers scroll down.
Free shipping progress bar
Show customers how far away they are from qualifying for free shipping.
Cross-sells
Show recommended products related to your customer’s cart items.
Added-to-cart popup
Customize the popup notification when customers add an item to their cart.
Floating cart button
Show a cart icon in the corner of the page to allow easy access to the cart.
Text with icons slider
Show promotional text with icons as a row or in a rotating slider.
Announcement bar
Show text for promotions and announcements.
Live traffic labels
Show how many customers currently have the same item in their cart.
Low inventory warning
Show a warning message for cart items that are low in stock.
Trusted payment icons
Show icons of your supported payment options

Enable Flash Cart in your theme editor

If you haven’t enable Flash Cart, you will see a banner in the theme editor telling you to enable the app in the App embeds settings.

In your theme editor, go to App embeds in the side panel to toggle on Flash Cart.

Next, find your theme’s cart settings to toggle them off. These settings are usually found in the Quick cart section (under ‘Overlays’ in the side panel) or by going to Theme settings > Cart.
